Car from Garn47 over Guppy (REP)

Greetings! Nitrox here with my first steam mod!

This mod aims to replace everything Guppy in Repentance with Car from Garn47.

IMPORTANT: As of now, I do not know if this mod will work 100% on Repentance+. As much as I'd like to, it seems the way graphics and text displays work has been changed.

Garn47 is a game made by Floombo that features a cute cat-like vehicle named Car! He's a very friendly fellow with 47 friends, and you are one!

It is suggested that you use this mod with another mod that can allow you to change and remove costumes due to other costumes being able to override the car transformation sprites.
All Guppy related items and trinkets in Vanilla Repentance have been given the Car treatment, and there's a car transformation instead of Guppy!

Guppy's Head -> Car's Head
Guppy's Tail -> Car's Poster
Guppy's Paw -> Car's Little Song
Dead Cat -> Cars Badge
Kid's Drawing -> Car's Drawing
Guppy's Eye -> Car's Eye
Guppy's Hairball -> Mini Car!
Guppy's Collar -> Car's Earring

(Epiphany Only)
Lil Guppy -> Car's Plush

Unfortunately I have yet to figure out how to change the guppy transformation icon for External Item Descriptions and how to replace Lil Guppy's name and description yet, but hopefully that will come soon!


I'm new to the TBoI modding scene so updates will likely take a while!

V1.1 Features:
- Car's eyes polish.
- Most External Item Description compatibility
- A couple bug fixes
- Repentance: Epiphany Lil' Guppy texture + sfx (No name change or descriptions yet sorry!)

V1.2 Update will include:
- Forgotten sprites
- Keeper Sprites (Done)
- Possibly finishing off External Item Description and Epiphany Compatibility!
- Drilly Plush over Catnap easter egg for Lil' Guppy!

There is an older car mod that has been discontinued, it is suggested to uninstall that old mod if you have it when subscribing to this mod!

Has to be a mod that also affects guppy if I had to guess

I'm using repentance, but yeah i think its another mod, A while ago it also just didn't show up
like no texture or name changes.

It might be conflicting with another mod or if you are using Repentance + It isn't 100% tested with that in mind.

for some reason its making my game crash each time i boot it up, something about strings says coding AI, good luck love the mod when it worked.

Maybe it's because I installed it after Rep+? I wonder if for people who have had it installed since Rep if uninstalling and reinstalling would fix their issues, try that.

It has? I've tried it myself and it's just the names and transformation that doesn't work. That's a relief to hear :)
