描述
This addon introduces a mechanic for opening doors with weapons. Instead of breaking down, the doors open! After being breached, the door cannot be used for a set period of time.

Features:
  • Shooting the door handle increases the damage multiplier, allowing you to breach the door faster.
  • Hand damage is not counted!

It doesn't work with explosions

Configuration:
The addon can be customized by adding the following ConVars to your server's garrysmod\cfg\server.cfg file:

Enable or disable door breaching mechanics:
doorbreach_enabled 1
Initial door health:
doorbreach_health 100
Damage multiplier when hitting the door handle:
doorbreach_handlemultiplier 2
Door recovery time after being breached:
doorbreach_respawntime 30
The speed of opening the door after breach:
doorbreach_speed 500
The default value of the door opening speed in L4D is 200. I suggest that it is the same in Gmod. Source of information.

Is there a way to make it to where it will only bust open the door if you shoot the lock/handle? And not be effected if you shoot elsewhere?

Yes, you can disable the function using the command in the doorbreach_enabled=0 console or through the server config file

WARNING! Carry on reading! Or you will die, even if you only looked at the word warning! Once there was a little boy called Joey, he was ten-years-old and he lived in a mental hospital because he posted a crappy copypasta onto a People Playground mod's comment section . He got so bad he went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the Feds decided that best idea was to get rid of him so they set up a special room to kill him, as inhumane as possible. And he sat there in agony for hours until he died. Now every week on the day of his death he returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00 a.m. He creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by pegging you and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other profiles on this one site, and he will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes nothing will happen: sorry man i am not taking the risk
