LIM LF-17A Wyvern | Survival-Ready Next-Gen Fighter

The LF-17 Wyvern soars to the front as Lagrange's premier Next-Generation Fighter, surpassing the 4th gens such as the LF-11A-D and 4.5th gens with the LF-11E/F and LF-14A/B, planting itself firmly within the 5th generation of space fighters.

Though the LF-17A is rather basic and mostly used as a trainer, its maneuverability is still that of legend. It does not come with a gun, but comes equipped with 4 SIM-8C's and a camera under the radome for target identification and recon.

The LF-17B is the Strike Wyvern, and has refitted wings to allow for wingtip missiles for self-defense, freeing up the 4 underwing pylons for ASM's and AGM's accompanied by a gatling gun in the nose.

The LF-17C being the third and last of the original production run, being completely outfitted for Fighter vs Fighter combat. Using the upgraded wings of the 17B, it can carry 6x missiles and has an autocannon under the radome for maximum impact with other maneuvering targets.

Due to how modular this platform is, you can even refit it for space or atmospheric-only flight with minimal effort. It's even known in some regions to have cargo modules replacing the internal compartments with guns placed inside of the wings for a minimal profile to catch unaware pirates off guard.
