Hope you are well! You might remember me - I previously created the Chinese localization for your "Expanded Family Trees" mod. Thank you again for adding the link back then, the Chinese community really appreciated it!
I've been enjoying your work so much that I've now completed a full Chinese localization for this mod as well.
The submod is available here: 网站链接
Just like last time, would you be so kind as to add a link to this localization in the description? It would be incredibly helpful for Chinese players to find it easily.
1) The tech tree is determined by a faction's culture. For the mod, I created a custom subculture for Amazons, but didn't change their base game culture (Cimmerians are Mesopotanians in the vanilla game). I initially planned to create a custom Amazon culture, but I decided againt it due to the unexpected bugs this could introduce. It was a matter of effort vs reward, those techs are the only out of place thing that I can think of.
2) Importing audio files to TW games is a very complicated process. As of now, there is no simple way to replace a faction's audio effects. You need to manually identify the base game audio that you want to update. Moreover, this completely replaces the audio file, so let's say we replace the Mesopotamian voice lines with Amazon ones; then all Mesopotamian units would use the Amazon audio. Unfortunately, using Tausret's voice lines is the least intrusive option.
3) I have already updated the mod to fix the bug
1) I noticed that their tech tree seems to be the Mesopotanian one, such as getting extra food at the Tigris and Euphrates, while being situation in Hittie lands far from that. Was that intended, or a side effect of how you set them up?
2) All their units seem to be using Tausret's voice lines, referencing Egypt and Hathor. Was this just a placeholder, or did you not intend to extract all the Amazon voicelines and transfer them along with the unit models?
3) In custom battles, the Amazon General (solely Penthesilia) seems to not have a name or description. Might just be a minor bug.
Either way, great work porting this over, Amulet of Kings!
