NPC Enemy Collection for Garry's Mod. Replaces Combine Enemies and also adds a few unique variations. Intended to be used by the biggest, most gigachad gamers.




Features:
  • Combine Soldiers, Combine Prison Guards, Combine Elites and Metro Police are replaced by custom futuristic variations. Since default combines are replaced, you can spawn these enemies by simply spawning the default combine NPC in the NPC tab.

  • 3 model variations, each with minor sub-variations as well, randomly chosen for every spawned Combine NPC through LUA.

  • Each model variation has a 30% chance to spawn as a "Heavy". Heavy enemies don't wear helmets and only receive half the damage. They're not very resistant to explosives.

  • Stylized Hitboxes, similar to old school games. Any limb hitbox apart from the head one receives pelvis damage and they're wide enough to be forgiving. Scoring headshots is slightly more challenging but still more than fair.

  • Stylized Ragdoll Physics, very similar to Metal Gear Solid V. Ragdoll physics are also compatible with ragdoll-altering addons like Enhanced Death Animations and Reagdoll.

  • Simple death expressions script for the Heavy Enemies when they're wasted.

  • Lightweight and optimized. Models have a decent amount of vertices but nothing that a decent PC can't handle.


  • Recommended to be used with:

    Lower Gravity for Physics Objects

    Mute Combines and Metrocops


  • Yeah the Heavy Enemies show their faces yet they can tank like 50 headshots. They just have really thick and augmented skulls or something.




Limitations:
  • I'm good at many things, but rigging for animations isn't one of them. While valve.biped animations look decent enough during gameplay, paying close attention to them will reveal some issues.

  • Fingers are not rigged for Valve animations because I'm lazy.

  • Shaders from Destiny are absent, resulting in dull black/white colors for the outfits. The current textures get the job done and, like previously established, I'm a lazy prick, I can't be arsed to port the shaders.
