VHHH/HKG Hong Kong International Airport

Hong Kong International Airport, HKG, situated on an artificial island on the edge of Chek Lap Kok serves the world's fourth largest financial hub. In 2021, construction of its North Runway was completed as part of the Hong Kong International Airport Master Plan 2030 expansion project. While Hong Kong is known for its towering skyscrapers, its distinctive mountains litter the skyline making arrivals/departures a navigational puzzle.

The North runway is used primarily for arrivals, while the Center runway is used for departures. The South runway under the new runway system is used to alleviate traffic for both arrivals/departures.
