Are you referencing when your skipper is on the periscope and has a helper attached to them? If that's your question, I do not know of a way to prevent that from happening.

I usually have a separate watch officer with helpers attached, which then allows me to then operate as the skipper independently.

Is there a way to forbid helper sailors to use observation periscope?

I tried to check in Crew.xlsx, but all sailor-related actions seems affect only sailors on duty, and not the helpers.

Which mod do you use to prevent sleeping?

Eridano2013- hmm, well that definitely is something I didn't test for, since I use the mod that removes the sleep requirement for officers. I'll take a look and see if there is anything that can be done. But for me personally, I'd rather not have to worry about sleep requirements in a Uboat sim.

when the skipper is completely exhausted, neither he nor anyone else can use the periscope... what to do in this case? An exception is needed.

Dramaticuser- unfortunately this requires a new start since it modifies datasheets. Its possible that a change in boat might cause datasheets to be re-loaded?

DECAF- Yea i was definitely unsure if it would have been possible to perform with datasheets. But im glad it was this easy. Took some poking around and research.

Tequilla- This also pairs nicely with the "Keep your periscope wet" mod. Since the AI wont be trying to get you killed by raising the scope un-necessarily.
