Being the ESDF first pure combat ship and feedback from the ships crew lead the ESDF high command and materials administration decided it was time for some changes to the Yamato class battleship and incorporate these changes into a flight 2 of the class, this included a change in the bridge layout to include new antenna sensors and improved crew comfort.
Some combat inspired changes includes a re-maping of the ships PDC network to include 4 additional PDC turrets as well as additional atmospheric thrusters for better planetary capabilities and the addition of 2 hydrogen sub thrusters to the bottom of the hull to support the 2 main thrusters.
All these changes makes service on the Yamato class more comfortable and its capabilities improved for the long service period that will be expected of this ship.
