Zombies

描述
A mod to add zombies to the Crash Landing Scenario (separate, vanilla Crash Landing is unchanged).

Currently adds 4 new zombie minions and 2 new zombie bosses.

Special thanks to Svetlio on the Stranded AD Discord for supporting me with work on the SAD common library as well as general modding help.

Notes:
Currently in Beta, so expect bugs

Known Bugs:
Zombie attacks show "Search Party Landed" and "Consortium Attack" messages
Zombies attack animals

Although there is some pressure in the beginning, using stone fences can effectively solve the problem of early deaths. Overall, there is indeed no need to adjust the speed.

@404 I imagine if you used another mod that enhances monsters, that likely is affecting the attack waves. The first zombie attack is generally around 4-5. Higher level zombies (like radioactive or liches) will have higher health around that, but the lower level ones shouldn't. They should run, though about at the same speed as a normal human (I've tested the slow shambling speed of the slow zombies you find naturally on the map, but found it too slow to my liking for attacks). Finally, the looting of human flesh is intended, as a desperate way to get food if needed.

Hello, I encountered some issues after trying it out. I would like to know if it's normal to have around 100 zombies from the first wave, each with 300 HP, or if it's due to the overlap of my mod with other mods that enhance monsters. Their running speed is very fast. Also, if possible, please remove the looting of human flesh... Just speed up the decay process.

@Tac0man12 Thanks for the love. Not sure if I'll add any cooking stuff related to the zombies (work on the mod is done for now) but who knows what I may do in the future (especially if Paradox begin more work on the game). As for attacking, your best bet is drafting survivors and using ctrl+right click to attack move.

@Muppethero It should show up as Zombie Infection (severe) under Health Conditions in the Health tab, assuming it's the infection. There is a permanent debuff that can happen due to Lich Zombies that is similar to the lightning strike debuff. Nubyplays I have a few things to say
1. I love the mod a lot.
2. I really want new cooking stuff.
3. Please make it easier to attack the zombies, I struggle with the "Hunt" key, and I have to use a first person mod to make it easier. Thank you :prospectorthumb:

Thanks for responding? are you on discord? Might be easier. It was not giving me a name of what was wrong in the condition state. It just told me "Condition cant be treated" or something along those lines. I even bumped up my healer to Skill 10 and tried the "cure all" cheat command.

@muppethero Are you trying to heal the Zombie Infection (mild) or (moderate)? Those are the only stages when the Zombie Infection can be healed, either with Healing Balm or a Medical Kit. By the (severe) stage, there is only a 10% chance for it to expire without them turning.

I am having trouble healing. I have healing balm but does not seem to do anything.

Yeah it's okay. I have a cold room up rather quickly anyways. Zombies are usually not my thing but your mod adds another challenge. It's not just the attack waves but also the random herds that spawn as zombies. Neat :-D

@Flin Fredstone I think drying racks can only dry raw red meat. Can still cook meals with the human meat though.
