Leviathan

描述
Darkness, as thick as a void, clouds your eyes. You are vaguely aware of an otherworldly metallic taste in the air, overpowered only by the incessant ringing in your ears. Finally, after a silent struggle, you come to, only to find yourself living your worst nightmare.

Now you must do everything you can to escape. But you fear that you are not the only one wandering these alien halls… and the way out must be sealed off for a reason.

Use your logic and quick thinking to solve puzzles, uncovering hints about what happened in the days preceding your awakening. And, if you are lucky and clever enough, perhaps you can find the way out and leave your dreadful experiences behind.

LEVIATHAN is an entry for the 2024 Frictional Mod Jam: Escape Room Edition. It was made by Maddy and Marco and requires Amnesia Rebirth to run.

This was really cool, well worth re-downloading Rebirth for lol. The power-fluid puzzle really put my brain on ice, I had to watch Fredrik's playthrough for that one haha

@element Thank you for having a go at our mod! :D

Some of the large tablet-looking things near the walls are interact-able, they're a little hard to see. Can you see those?

I only stumbled upon the real exit by accident, after died once. But the box building chase is always a tense experience, so that end part worked for me. The library was another crazy setpiece. The poems were easy to understand and I had a great time with them. The exit animation was well done, and it had a well built finale. I liked the ending too, my only criticism there, that I think when the monster looked in the camera, that was a little bit goofy and I thought it was comical. It made a dissonant feeling from the previous parts, But the ending song was again a banger, so I didn't really mind in the end:D
Thanks for this experience. I roughfly know how much work had to be put into this, so all of my appreciations to you two!

First I did the fluid pumping one. Now I was trying like half an our with that, since I am horrible at puzzles, but it didn't become frustrating or anything, and it was a good feeling when it finally succeeded. The talking brain mechanic was also elevated the gameplay experience. When the monster appeared, I lost my way a little. I think that section should use some more environmental highlights that shows the way.
