LIM LF-11F Super Augusta | Fleet Defense Fighter

The LF-11F, built on the Block II of the LF-11E, comes with 2x missile hardpoints for the SIM-4B interception missile. The fighter itself, as described below, is a stripped-down LF-11E for the purposes of being cheaper and more practical in the fleet defense role for carrier groups.

The vehicle also comes equipped with 2 simple spotlights which, when toggled on, illuminate the position of the enemy in a dogfight to allow for more fluid movements from the pilot in addition to the in-board radar screen.

Following the commercial success of the [/i]Augusta[/i] Light Fighter, many variants were put into production - Firstly, the LF-11B uses the brand new Mk.2A (space-only Mk.2) hull with more fuel but primarily sets itself apart offensively via advanced weapons integration and overhauled situational awareness utilizing an onboard radar and AI-controlled turret.

The LF-11C, which is a cheaper alternative to the LF-11B and does not include the advanced weapons integration, instead just being a much more advanced LF-11A with more fuel, lift, and radar while operating on the Mk.2 hull.

The LF-11D, being the 2-seat alternative to the C with the onboard AI-controlled turret being optionally-relegated to a manned station behind the pilot to allow for much greater control.

The LF-11E, A space-only LF-11C for the same platform on a budget.

The LF-11F, A space-only model intended for use aboard carriers. It keeps the advanced radar systems of the Super Augustas but integrates the old LF-11A cockpit with the Mk.2A hull to allow for a smaller profile and easier docking.

The LF-11G, The single-seat atmospheric-only Super Augusta, an answer to needing lower fuel expenditure requirements when planetside.

The LF-11H, the final Super Augusta - the twin-seat version of the LF-11G.
