In 1996, the Kimber Company began to offer custom handguns, and today a variety of 1911 custom handguns are the company's flagship products. Kimber's products are made with semi-manual production, low output, high price but good quality. LAPD SWAT has long used modified government 1911 pistols, but now also uses Kimber's pistols. With a beautiful yet utilitarian design, the Super Jagare is ideal for close range takedown of a variety of game and varmint species.
