Leila's Planty Events

My young daughter (a budding storyteller) and I are collaborating on this mod, and we're publishing in her name. We have more on the way... more planty events and also other mods touching on animism, alchemy, and ancient mysticism!

Updates 8/24: We pushed out some updates over the last few days to our debut event (mainly bug fixes... think we got them all)! And we just tonight added our second event to this mod, something new!


We'll write more about this one soon, but we're excited about our latest addition to this mod, an all new planty event that features a surprising pet, if you so choose...


After playing Wildermyth for over 500 hours (right?! we love this game), we were astonished to realize there were as yet some unseen transformations.

And the one we really pined for was Botanical, with the vines (to which the carnivorous skin from the first DLC may be applied).

After reading the Wiki, we learned that we needed to land upon an event with the Strider. We'd never glimpsed this Strider, and so we began learning how to write mods!

This is our first mod, so far one new event with a small story to it, that unlocks the Botanical transformation.

We've since seen the Strider, but we still enjoy having this transformation be a more frequent option, if we choose.
