What does this do?
This adds a curated selection of the highest quality Vanilla Expanded hero characters as additional backgrounds in the pool.

Does this replace existing backgrounds?
Yes. This replaces the existing character-less versions of the existing wallpapers.

Why not all of them?
I tried all of them, and it wasn't great. Many have detail that is not consistent with the rest, to no fault of Oskar of course. I have curated this selection for the purpose of having them fit in with the existing DLC characters cleanly. The only characters chosen will feel more or less like they're supposed to be there, unmodded.

Is Oskar Potocki involved in this mod?
Oskar generously sent me the high quality versions of the character art, and permission to publish the mod. This is not an official entry in the Vanilla Expanded series, and this was ran by him.

I don't recognize some of these guys.
Many of them are from upcoming mods.

Do I need the associated mods for the respective background to appear?
Nah. All of these appear regardless of if you have their associated mod.

What about including the VE storytellers?
I would like to make a personal distinction between background characters and storyteller characters. I believe they serve different roles. It's a matter of my personal vision, this mod was designed for my modpack.
