I understand why the option to turn off repairs is there. Maybe you don't want your mechanitor wasting time repairing bots that you would rather just replace once they die. But why is the default to not repair? It makes no sense, and has led to much frustration (and a lost colony) on my end, because I forget that I have to tell my guy, who's whole job is to maintain the mechs, to maintain the mechs.
