PMW-HV-SC Drake Mule Transporter

Pear's Motor Works proudly presents the Drake Mule! This compact rugged transporter was so versatile that PMW created 3 different versions of it; a plain transporter version, same transporter, but with a salvage turret and a bit beefier version with drill turret and shield and a bit less cargo space.

These compact machines get used by PMW mining company in combination with a drop ship. We fly to a planet, park next to the goodies, mine or salvage whilst unloading in said CV, that also provides cover and defense. There-fore the transporter and salvage versions don't even have a shield. They just don't need one. The salvager comes out to play when the POI has been killed already. Sugegsted to turn of the hovers (on P menu) and the thrusters while mining/salvaging for power savings and stability.
And let's be real.. nobody uses a plain transporter.. maybe add one of those small ammo boxes (loot/salvage only) and slap a turret on it? The miner DOES have a shield. It still depends on a CV for protection, but at least you can finish your drilling/don't have to run instantly if a few drones come to pesker you.
These HVs wont move fully loaded with copper or tungsten.. but they are cheap, very compact and in practice they often even barely leave the CV/dropship. The miner version has a bit less exposed container extensions/is a bit sturdier than the other versions.. but still not a super tough cookie of course.

This vessel was inspired by the Drake Mule vehicle from Star Citizen. More vehicles from SC universe are being tested on the Anvil server atm. PMW hopes the mules will take a load of your back and get your riches back home safely!
As a tribute to the awesome deco pieces RE2 adds, PMW made an exception for their hover vessels to use wheels this time.. we had to choose between magic floating phat wheels or thin wheels with suspension.. PMW went for option A.. the interior is non existing in Star Citizen, in this build it is fully customized to be suitable in the Empyrion galaxy/made up to allow proper exiting of the vessel. You can enter at the front 'Star Citizen style' though!
