Uncle Howdy

The Uncle Howdy character debuted in WWE after Bray Wyatt returned to the company at Extreme Rules 2022. Howdy appeared to be antagonizing Wyatt but assisted him in a match at the 2023 Royal Rumble.

Howdy's role going forward appeared to involve wrestlers portraying live versions of the Firefly Funhouse puppets from previous Wyatt segments. Any original plans for the group were likely scrapped after Bray's death in August 2023, but the group debuted in 2024 following months of brief, cryptic interruptions on WWE television.

In June 2024, the lights went out on an episode of Raw and multiple WWE wrestlers and staff were shown laid out backstage before members of the new stable appeared.

Bo Dallas has been portraying Uncle Howdy, likely at least since the character's first on-screen interactions with Bray Wyatt.
