Schrödinger's cubes

Yet another puzzle focused on Schrödinger's cubes, somehow even easier than the previous ones. It's a very small map, but one that I hope is fun to play. The name is a reference to a (somewhat) old videogame I've played recently. Due to other repairs taking priority, most test chambers have been left in a state of disarray, littered with debris and fallen-off metal tiles, with minimal lighting and barely enough power to keep vital functions running. In spite of the somewhat alarming state of things, the Aperture facility feels oddly peaceful and calmer than ever.

Very strongly inspired by sp_a1_laser_intro from Portal: Revolution.

Music: No Cake For You from Portal.



Unintended:
- Any sorts of glitches, speedrunning tricks, cube throwing, etc.

- Tight timing and/or tricky cube placements.

I really liked this one - great use of interchanging which cube plays which role . Thumbs up.

@AxoLabs thanks for explaining; now I understood why that move was a bit of a pain. Shame that it spoiled it slightly, but if that's the only way to fix it, so be it.

@BrockKids1 It's just Portal 2 with some custom textures and models, AFAIK Portal 2 isn't even compatible with the RTX remix.

@bullfrog The reason it acted so weirdly in the video is because of a push trigger I added to one side of the platform, because even after making it thinner it was still possible to perform an exploit. I didn't run into any trouble with the trigger while testing the map, but if it makes the intended solution harder to execute I'll remove it. Thank you for the favorite!

I understand why you've changed the width of those stairs, but it did seem to make placing the cube there a little more tricky: intended solution. That aside, have another :steamthumbsup: and, even though it's a short puzzle, it is elegant - added to favourites.

I know I said yesterday that I was "Pretty sure I solved it as you expected, but..." was wrong! Well, I mucked about this morning for a while and eventually came up with a solution which is fairly simple, but brilliant and not easy to see :steamthumbsup: So, this time I'm nearly certain that I "solved it as you expected, but just to check" again: intended solution ?

I found a couple of unintended solutions, but I continued until I found the clean one - which is very nice. I found this map to be a lot harder then your previous ones, maybe I had a bad day then. Not sure. Big thumbs up.

@Rooke it's not, but I'm not surprised it flew over my head. I've uploaded a video showing the intended solution, it's (I think) a bit more interesting.
