Hemun Ene Valley Inhabited

A small region located northeast of the Krasnoyarsk Territory at the confluence of rivers Avam and Eneso near the Evenki settlements. The region is populated with Evenki and Russians. During the conquest of Siberia, the Cossacks accidentally wandered into this place and founded the first settlement here, which received the name “Rogatka” (Slingshot) for its outline of the coast. Despite valley's harsh climate, due to its location at the junction of trade routes along the Eneso and Avam rivers, the valley has received enormous development. Thanks to the developing production of venison and fur, the town of Sosnovy Yar grew, which became a major center of trade in the North of Siberia. The town of Sosnovy Yar is notable for its unusual combination of European and Russian architecture. After the Great October Revolution, the region was not at its best times, most of the trade was stagnating and production of fur and venison was lowering up to date.
Due to region's catastrofic situation it was granted a major autonomy with you as the head of the republic. The region is quite challenging with its disjoined infrastructure, harsh climate and low population density. Yet, there is some potential with vast forest-tundra plains, resource deposits and huge rivers. Now it is time to show the glory of Hemun Ene Autonomous Soviet Republic!

My first, and I hope not the last one landscape. Main inspiration for this map was taken from Putorana Plateau and Krasnoyarsk region nature.
