Ever wanted to run your own hotel/resort chain (or maybe have a side hustle to fund your Utopia). Now you can!
This civic provides a way to use your surplus amenities, which tend to pile up on trade worlds.

XenoTourism
Managing intercontinental reservations is a headache, intergalactic reservations are torture. Thankfully our integrated resort and travel reservation system is here to help! As long as you have the credits and a valid GALCOM passport the galaxy is yours. Book your dream vacation on one of our corporate resorts NOW!

*The megacorp and normal empire civics are nearly identical, but the civic is designed for megacorps
  • Grants access to the Grand Hotel: a building which generates 0.01 Trade Value per available Amenity (So 1% of your surplus amenities are converted into trade value) and a Travel Agent Specialist job (requires at least 1 Commercial Pact or Migration Pact to be built)

  • Gain Executive Leisure Program as a guaranteed research option at game start (Megacorp only)

  • Resort Worlds as guaranteed research options at game start

  • Head of XenoTourism
The Head of the XenoTourism department makes sure the corporate resorts have a safe, inviting and all inclusive image.

    Empire Effects per Skill Level:
Trust Cap: +2, +5% Job Efficiency for Entertainers

Compatibility
Should be good with everything; overwrites nothing!

Before you comment!
Vague requests such as "Update?", "broken plz fix" will be ignored and deleted. If you want me to fix something, tell me what is broken. Just because the mod isn't updated to the current version of the game doesn't mean it won't work. It'll probably work just fine.

Feedback and questions are welcome though!

Sorry for taking forever with the update, but this mod is BACK for 4.2.X Corvus.
I hope it works fine :btd6thumbsup:

I still do have the old files if someone wants me to upload a legacy version to the workshop.

- Head of XenoTourism now provides +5% Job Efficiency for Entertainers and +2 max trust cap

@Juhius: the intention behind the new update was to fix the endgame lag. Unfortunately, PDX have to released in a unfinished state. Something to do with the Holidays... :steamfacepalm:

Yeah... I finally got around to testing the 4.* patch and the new dlc
I'll have to wait a while. I am not touching the game in the current state. I'm pretty sure the mod is busted for the newest version, but the newest version of the game seems to be busted anyways, so no real loss there. I thought the game was in a decent state so I don't get why they had to mangle it like this.

Yes, unfortunately I have been busy with certain personal problems and responsibilities... and school work. I am planning on updating this *and* doing more Stellaris modding. I should have the time starting next week, but no promises. I'm pretty sure the mod should work as is though.

Did you intend to update this mod for the 4.0?
Juhius  [作者] 2 月 6 日 下午 1:16
Yeah, building on this is a fun idea. I don't want to do anything before the big update though.

I am not sure how much crime would work by default, but now that you have a baseline system for converting amenities to trade value, you could possibly introduce a variety of amenity conversion buildings with different drawbacks (and some could be stronger with more drawbacks), to prevent the resource scaling from getting out of control these could be mutually exclusive. 1 example could be luxury restaurants that increase the food upkeep of the planet (in exchange for trade value).

Any suggestions on how much crime free amenities would produce?

I really dig Ahmet's suggestion to make unused amenities cause just a pinch of crime, could be a simple & flavorful way to balance
