@Henry Hawkwood You're right, my bad - it is a vanilla bug that Diomedes has no background title set to begin with! I've made my own startpos mod that makes Diomedes leader of Boeotia and fixes the bugs associated with his character. You can find it here if you're interested:

@E.R.L. I am positive it is in the vanilla. The background title changes for me between the two.

I understand that for this it will be necessary to create 4 new game factions (Sparta, Dardania Hippolyta's Amazons and Hippolyta's Amazons) and change the start point. The following were present in the Trojan category: Hector (Hector’s Trojans), Paris (Paris’ Trojans), Aeneas (Dardania), Sarpedon (Lycia), Rhesus (Thrace), Memnon (Napata). And in the Amazon category were present: Hippolyta (Hippolyta's Amazons) and Penthesilea (Penthesilea's Amazons), without changing or removing the Cimmerian faction.

I would also really like these game factions to become available for custom battles with their Legendary Heroes.

Hello! Very interesting and wonderful mod. I would like to ask, if there is time and desire, I would like to see almost all game factions-states from Troy playable. I would really like to see a new side of choice added to the campaign menu for selecting factions (main) - Trojans and Amazons. And we would end up with 9 main cultural sides with factions-states inside.

I would really like to see the following major factions in the Aegean category along with Agamemnon (Mycenae): Menelaus (Sparta), Achilles (Phthia), Odysseus (Ithaca) Ajax (Salamis), Diomedes (Argos).

I wish there was a mod where I could play with Athens.

@Henry Hawkwood @rafswi7 I just checked the base game without mods and Diomedes does have a background title "Devout Warrior". It does appear this is the mod that messes with it.

ERL that's in the base game as well. I wish someone made AI lines for diomedes in the court :(

Hey rafswi7, thanks for this mod! Just wanted to point out a bug I found - Diomedes' character panel shows "dy_background_name" for his background trait instead of his original title. Could this be fixed?

Really neat mod. A word of warning though, if you're using a startpos mod like the increased settlement slot spot, this mod will be incompatible and cause the other startpos mod to not work.
