1.0 FULL RELEASE COMPATIBLE

REQUIRES A NEW CAREER START

Mods seawolf to coward/weak ratio 10 : 0.5/0.5
Vanilla 1 : 1/0.5

The intention of this is to stop players feeling the need to stress test their crew, which ends up being silly, boring, and makes for busywork.

I cannot believe that more than half of all crews would collaspe under extreme stress.

Hopefullly this makes players engage as intended with the morale system. Accepting that yes they may get an anxious sailor (and ayes they might've given him precious crewXp point) but such is life and its very unlikely.

Trust your men! And the anxious, well, don't hate them too much.

Another low effort/ high reward datasheet mod from tibbs :D

I believe there was/ is a mod which makes all sailors seawolves, but for me this ruins the balance, effectively making the whole system pointless

Yeah all this this mental breakdown and panic screaming during combat is rather a modern/movie drama thing and not really mentioned in any accounts of skippers or soldiers in general and also does not reflect my own experience. Men don´t break during from this, they break afterwards... hours, days, even years later.

Regarding needing a new career start, is that only for it to apply to the starting crew?
If I were to add this mid way into the game, would the new ratio apply to new recruits?

@goodmorningsunshine youre right, it is hardly an issue because stress hardly rises assuming you are using vacations/cook/music. At the time of making this mod i would stress test my crew to expose their character before awarding a skill point. It doesnt make sense to me that 6 out of 10 sailors were unsuited to the work, so I would still use this mod regardless.

Is it such a common problem to encounter 60% of sailors to collapse? I honestly never had even a single sailor in distress, it simply seemed impossible to stay so long under water or be hunted for so long with the incapable AI. But maybe this mod does actually make a lot of sense then when more difficult discipline mods are used? So far I am still hoping to finally see my first collapse haha xD

In vanilla the rate of anxious/heart attack sailors is 60%
In the mod the rate is 9%
The rest will be seawolves

sry my english is rly bad but what does this mod EXACLY do?

does it ad the seawolve trait to all sailors? or does is just remove the .. bad skill (dont know the name) for all sailors..?
