Javelin Crafting

JAVELIN CRAFTING
This mod introduces a javelin crafting kit, available for purchase at Port Otype’s outdoor market area. Use this kit to craft javelins from most base game materials, along with the crafting materials introduced by my mods.

This mod has no dependencies and can be seamlessly integrated into an existing save. It uses the “ZoneMerge” feature to modify a base game zone, so make sure you haven’t left any important items on the market tables in Port Otype before you subscribe to this mod. This mod lightly alters base game balance in the sense that the default “javelins” items are now “iron javelins” and deal 1 less damage to account for the introduction of steel javelins between default and mythril. Furthermore, mythril javelins are now much cheaper to align their price with other mythril items.


Cross-Mod Support: Javelins can be crafted from base game materials, or from Heartwood, Bloodstone, Gossamer, Xochitl, and Yore. Place this mod below the relevant crafting material mods.

Furthermore, consider using this mod with Royal Classes to give the Zealot a greater range of weapon choices in combat. Laser javelins? Volskarn? Don't mind if I do. Oh, and if you're wondering about crafting throwing axes, check out Kestrel.

MOD COMPATIBILITY WARNING: If you're using Mafe's Fishing Expansion mod, put Javelin Crafting above it in the mod load order.
