@xof - Thank you for sharing! I’ve been trying to create mods for FlatOut since my early years, but I’ve never heard about this script. I’ll try to implement it as soon as I have time. Hopefully, all the work can be done just with .bfs.

Not my script at all, it belongs to gaycodeprincess [github.com] I'm honestly really surprised that nobody knows about this, but they've made a script that disables the wall assist completely (Among other things like bringing FO2 physics too). They argue that the Zoom Platform update isn't much of an update to FOUC, and thus they still decide to stick with the GFWL version of FOUC.

I for once am glad that FOUC got updated, but just wish it was getting more love like FO1 and FO2

Granted, the .asi script needs a script loader, so I don't think it'll just pass-off as a workshop add-on, regardless I sent a github page above and you can see the script for yourself - if you've got the time.

If I were to provide you with a GFWL script that disables this game's wonky wall physics and instead replaces them with FO2's logic, would it be possible for you to patch it into the current versions of FOUC?

@xof - Yes, so far I can't do it any other way...

a feeble attempt to disable bouncing off walls and using them to your advantage like you're playing NFSU2, now it mostly just ends up with you being glued to a wall unable to get off of it even at lower speeds... but it'll do for now.

Haha I learned to drive so many maps with those magic walls. It will definitely be a refresh of a game for me, as AI never uses it.
