update your wallpaper, at the bottom of the list you should have bloom and rat ( they are at the bottom of the list you described

Under settings I see: Audio recording, Scheme color, volume, playback rate, mouse parallax, alignment, position, flip and show color options.

"de-ticking" mouse parallax does nothing, ("re-ticking" also does nothing for that matter).

everything works, remove the "rat" item in the settings

Thank you Kira. But for me pressing the "mouse parallax" only seems to slightly alter the aspect ratio. Yet the infamous mouse remains. Maybe this is a problem on my end, but could you please verify.
