UPCN - CL - Hatred Class Destroyer

Hatred serves as an advanced modernization of the older Temple-class destroyer. After efforts to upgrade the Temple fell through, a new initiative was drafted to form the basis of the United Planetary Coalition's modernized navy. Consolidation of upgrade packages and technology demonstration led to the development of a new hull type for the initiative, that followed the same principles but was ultimately a new hull for the sakes of development, christened Project Eurydice . This was to be a multi-role destroyer designed for extended campaigns with both deep strike and defense-in-depth capability, armed with the latest VLS systems, a tried and tested super-firing battery configuration for its cannons, and a relatively spacious hangar for a ship of its size for transfer of crew and cargo.
