描述
Better Chainsaw script.
Become the king of the apocalypse with this iconic zombie killing weapon!

This script is intended for players who want a more powerful Chainsaw that doesn't require you to hug zombies and runs out of fuel in 30 seconds. Can kill witches without angering them at any non-Realism difficulty. I gave it some large buffs without making it extremely overpowered.


Stat changes (Simple)
*Higher DPS (1000 > 2000)
*Bigger fuel tank (30 > 120)
*More damage resistance (50% > 75%)
*Larger radius
*Longer range

Stat changes (Full)
+Increased damage (100 > 200)
+Increased fuel tank (30 / 30 seconds > 120 / 120 seconds)
+Increased damage resistance while attacking (50% > 75%)
+Increased range (50 > 70)
+Increased cone radius (30 > 60)

Where i can find mod version, with default fuel tank, but Higher other values?

Changing the deploy duration field does not work, unfortunately.

Sometime in the future, you should use Crowbar to unpack, then repack it.

I believe you can do this by changing the value of the deploy duration in weapon_chainsaw.txt

Do you know if it's possible to edit the chainsaw so that it doesn't play its "windup" animation when you switch to it from another item?

P.s. Even though you specified the way how to make changes, but personally it didn't work out for me (maybe I'm a bit dumb in this area). But if you can make the mod itself or describe to me in more detail the steps on how to do it myself, thanks in advance.

Also Extra for the chainsaw: when the fuel of the chainsaw runs out it will not be usable anymore, but if you find a canister and then while holding the canister And looking to the chainsaw and pressing "E" it will make the animation of refilling, and the chainsaw will be usable Again, the more gasoline it has, the more fuel will have!
