Wright Eclipse Urban GO-AHEAD Repaints

The Wright Solar Eclipse series was launched in 1999, named due to a total solar eclipse which occured over the UK on the 11th of August of that year. The Eclipse Urban was the third rigid single-deck model in this family, built on the Volvo B7RLE low-entry single-deck chassis, a direct replacement for the Volvo B10BLE launched in the UK in 2003, but 2001 elsewhere in Europe. The B7RLE was initially only available in the UK with the Wright Eclipse Urban bodywork, an evolution of the original Eclipse body which was built on the earlier, full low-floor, but unsuccessful B7L chassis. Other derivatives of the Eclipse were available on the Volvo B7LA and Scania L94UA articulated chassis known as the 'Fusion', the Scania L94UB and K230UB known as the 'Solar', the VDL SB200 'Pulsar' and the later MAN N273LF 'Meridian'.
