It's a bit less granular than mine, but seems to work quite well.
Just be aware that the game's version processes rules from the right tab to the left.
* Sort To Tabs Note: The game now supports mapping a tab to items. It is very similar to the Sort to Tabs mod. While it is less granular than STT (e.g. it cannot specify a specific item), it is close enough for the majority of users.

If that is not your experience, try disabling other mods to see if there is a conflict.

However, you can press S to sort the current tab.
Currently when I press the hotkey, it moves the items but never stacks them with any of the existing stacks that were already in that tab. So I end up with like 5 different partial stacks of that item that have to be manually combined.
