(8) COASTAL ASSAULT
Per request, this is (4) COMP STOMP VII - BREAKTHROUGH MAP, modified:
  • Removed all scripts/playbills
  • Added Capture and VP points.
  • Cleared up starting areas for more building space. Removed cliffs at entrances.
  • Removed Railguns from Team 2 area.
  • Lightened up atmosphere.
  • Removed excessive enemy bunkers throughout map.
  • Removed neutral AT guns and ammo crates throughout map.
  • Opened up wall in mid-map for more flow.
  • Opened up second entrance to Team 1 base.

Map was never intended as a 4v4 balanced map, but may be fun anyways! :)

Hi Madmunchkin. Feel free to upload, if you can mention its originally from me in the map description somewhere that would be nice. :)

Yah this map was originally a playbill scripted map with lots of single player aspects, this version was made simply by request from people, so it was never originally designed as a 4v4. ;)

I made an bottleneck version of your map and I'm planning to make a second version with the regualr pathways but with a bit more space for line of sight for defenses by removing a few assets in the town area. May I upload this versions to the steam workshop or do you wanna have em so you can upload them yourself in your name?

AI stomping everything with tanks within the first minutes thanks to its pre captured +16 ammo and fuel points in their base if you play this map with mods like spearhead. Either remove those points, uncap them at the start or add the same for the opposite team.

Update,

- Modified team settings so players cant move teams, should fix issue of black screen.

andy_l17 - Thanks for leaving comment. I Tested it playing red side, runs fine. However, you have to have all slots either CPU or Human, if you don't it will black screen.

[BZ] BEEZY-B - Try map again, but add all 4 "team 2" AI spots, see if it makes a difference.

[BZ] BEEZY-B - Interesting. there isn't any playbills or anything in this map, its a generic map, so it shouldnt have any issues what so ever. I'll do some testing and see if I can replicate. Wonder if patch messed something up... oof... stay tuned... thanks for leaving comment though!

I must be doing something wrong :( I put 2 x AI in the red starting spots and 1 x Human (me) in the blue... and the enemy didn't build anything - just stood there. What am I doing wrong? :/
