描述
Increases the Friendly Fire resistance for other ships.

This messes around with the needed "hits" to provoke a reaction, also how long it takes for em to start to "forget" and how fast they do it.

Vanilla (Mod):
XL - need 8 hits (now 10), they start to forget after a delay of 5s (now 3s) and decay 2 hits (now 5) per s.
L - 8 hits (same), forget after 5s (3s), decay 2 (4) hits/s
M - 2 hits (4), forget after 10s (5s), decay 0.1 (1) hits/s (vanilla needs 10s per hit)
S - 1 hit (2), forget after 10s (5s), decay 0.05 (0.5) hits/s (vanilla needs 20s per hit)

so XL forget time at max: 9s (5s now), L: 9s (5s now), M: 30s (9s), S: 30s (9s)

It is kinda cheating at the other side, as you can kill ships or shot em low (for boarding) easier, there are other mods around that approach that issue from another point (like "Friendly fire tweaks").

Tell me balance issues or other weird stuff that maybe happend with these "tweaks".


Credits to Tempest407, "Tempest's Friendly Fire" had ~5 times the settings from Vanilla, making ships barely respond at all, but that mod doesn't work anymore (and i don't like it that cheaty :D ).

Uh, best guess the next big patch Ego delivers will do that, otherwise extract this mod and adjust the values even more so enemys kinda full ignore hits (push needed hits, throw the delay down and pump the decay/s)

My struggle is this. Set my shiny new Syn to defend DefPlat in Hatikvah, only for it to accidentally FF some one, causing instant enemy status... i could understand if it was player error. Not the damn AI...I shouldnt have to deal with that. It makes this game very frustrating... Not a fan of log and reload, THAT feels cheaty to me but not going to play that. Need a way to disable AI FF unless directly ordered to.

check via x4 customizer, that one has no issues with the mod and the files are patched compared to vanilla

I think a better fix for friendly fire would be that any ally ships would be immune to player damage by default and there would be a key shortcut to mark them hostile. That way piracy is still doable, but it prevents your ships from starting a faction war.

Seriously friendly fire kind of ruins the point of this game for me. I had 4 fully stocked carriers ready to go. I sent them into a Xenon sector and ONLY because I happened to be in that sector, all of the ally ships that were also in the region became hostile and it became a 1v1v1. Very ridiculous, friendly fire NEEDS to be patched in vanilla.

try to look into "Friendly fire tweaks" from Nexus, iirc that one works like that (to a part)

I wish there is a way for AI to forget friendly fire from turrets fire in total. since those are mostly friendly fire come from, and player have nothing to do with them.

Oh ja, die Option mit Entschuldigung (wie es die KI ja macht..teilweise viel zu häufig), war wirklich gut, nicht optimal ok, aber es ganz weglassen ist irgendwie ein Fehler.

Meine Wahrheit ist eine andere... als man noch mit Stationen und Schiffen "Kommunizieren" konnte "Ach T'schuldigung das ich Sie angeschossen habe" !!! usw...
War das ja noch OK !
Aber jetzt ist das nicht mehr möglich... deshalb Traurig, das wir noch eine MOD brauchen um das überhaupt beheben zu können !!! :steamthumbsdown:
