This is the pre-release build of Withering Souls, containing a bunch of content not in the base mod at this time. Contained is a total overhaul of Hadal Rot, several new mutated ghoul types, and a few secrets that will soon have their proper integration.

they'll have to right click with it. the other 2 "The Twelfth Pressure" items, when either are read, will make someone a member of the cult, with the ability to craft different specialized items in the "Forge of the Present" which the Messenger can craft in a fabricator

the traitor event is not yet in the mod, so just give someone "The Twelfth Pressure: The Five Duties" to make them the cult leader. this system is very early and not well explained rn

ghouls are back in the mod again after a temporary removal. i plan to remove the spread of lingering smog amongst crew to get rid of the horrific lag when an outbreak begins, and i also plan to reduce particles. with these changes, perhaps this mod will be performance friendly at last
