VERSION 3 CHANGELOG (24/01/2020)
-Is now compatible with 3.3.0 (JNRZ)


VERSION 2 CHANGELOG (12/06/2017) - Update coming soon.
-Custom nation rule can disable this mods' features.
-It now costs 100 gold.
-Displaced icon fixed.
-Laws will now be copied.
-There is now an Event pop-up upon creation (English only).


In addition to the decisions to form a new Kingdom and Empire, this mod adds the
decision to form a new Duchy.

It takes the flag and name from your primary county title.

Requirements to form:
-Adult
-No prisoner
-Not incapable
-The cost is 100 gold.
-Must have 50 piety
*One of the following must be true:
-Ruler has 200 prestige and is independent
-Ruler has 400 prestige and liege is king tier or above

****SUPPORTS ENGLISH, FRENCH, GERMAN & SPANISH****

I downloaded and it has popped in my mods file, but in-game it doesn't appear on my Decisions menu. I've ensured I met the conditions for creation (playing as Giacopo Orsini, 1066 start) so 100 gold, 400 prestige and 50 piety but nothing. Hoping someone will reply back as to where I'm going wrong.

Could you make a direct download of this? Steam is not downloading it when I subscribe and when I look into the mods file the mod's folder is empty.

even when i remove one of the descriptors, it still isnt working.

hi I downloaded it into my mod folder in my document. but it just won't extract. Exactly how do I install this? Do I have to clear my other mods before installing this one? please help

I'll post this again. The problem is caused by a doubling of descriptor.mod files within the zip.
Here this is what it looks like if the mod is downloaded from the workshop: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/619953481511600129/686010813349494839/unknown.png
I am going to asume that you have a descriptor.mod file in folder before uploading it to the workshop or alternatively the upload was fucked up in someway.
Anyway removing the additonal files fixes the mod.

The character is the same one I mentioned in my previous comment (Count Raoul of Amiens, a quadruple count under the King of France in 1066). I have no other mods enabled. Please actually fix this when you get the chance.

I have the required gold, piety and prestige, I tried to increase them by console but even there the event doesn't want to appear. I'm a count under a king (with no duke between us) and I have 4 counties.. I hope that I'm missing something, would be more simple ahah.
