KC-12 Kestrel-class Heavy Courier

The Kestrel is a sleek cargo hauler built around two powerful hydrogen engines and a pair of jump drives, designed for high-speed, low-cargo cargo hauling missions. The vessel sacrifices larger fuel and cargo storage in exchange for a slimmer profile and reduced weight, giving it enhanced performance characteristics in space and atmosphere. It is typically used in trading missions between stations.

The Kestrel comes armed with a pair of Assault Cannon Turrets and (2) Interior Turrets. Multiple hardpoints are available for the installation of additional weapon systems. The interior has some amenities, albeit not much space for the crew. Still, the ship is equipped with basic refineries and an Assembler that allow for limited refinery and production during missions.
