I like this spawnmenu a lot and it's kinda sad it's not implemented in a proper way that works all the time

That might be the problem actually
extracted this addon's gma, and it really does only have the PNG

However, other spawnmenu reskins (looked at the first result for dark spawnmenu search and the HL2 Media Player Skin spawnmenu) have lua files

so i cant really see how it can work and not work on some maps if you really want it i can send you the direct file on discord or use gmpublisher to download it and put it localy

that's weird there's not a single script in this addon it's just a replacement of an ingame texture
