The stages were picked out based on whether or not they have a clear ground layer that the characters stand on, so turning off "Draw Stage Lines" doesn't cause any confusion on the custom stages. The 17 included stages were narrowed down from a selection of ~40.


----------Mod options to change----------
This can be done by clicking "Mod Options" in the bottom left of the main menu.

Enable custom stages and disable stage lines visuals (or make stage lines a dark grey so they're less contrasting, if you prefer to keep them on).

Make the shader a more subtle 1 pixel offset, note that styles with outlines will obscure the mosa lina shader on your character with this change.

Raise the water level of the stage water shader, for personal preference (may partially obscure info text underneath characters, disable "show extra game info" in options to hide the text).

Turn tooltips on.
