Fort Sumter 1861

This is my masterpiece, for now it shall be. My biggest and heaviest map at the moment, also the one that took the most compiling time, about 15~ mins. Anyways, here it is.

Fort Sumter, 1861, where it all began. Where the American Civil War began. As the nation began to tear apart slowly, Confederate militias and troops began to take cities, towns and important positions as tensions began to rise, the Union troops garrisoned in Battery Moultrie, for some reason (I dont remember) left the battery in the middle of the night and retreated to Fort Sumter which is in the entrance of Charlston bay, after some time, the Confederate troops decided to take the first shot and officialy begin the war by shelling Fort Sumter from Battery Moultrie (ironic) after 34 hours, the Union troops in Sumter surrendered under agreeable terms and were allowed safe passage out of the harbor and towards allied territory.

By 1865, Fort Sumter was almost obliterated, in shambles, ruined, at least it remains as a museum in recent times.


Fort Sumter:
- Union Spawn
- Fort
- Gate with metal thing to lock it (you can grab and manipulate the metal bar with the Jmod hands from the Jmod addon, for more interesting interactions)
- A LOT of gunports
- Three towers with stairs in them
- All the fort is AI noded, so NPCS can move around (not open doors sadly, only to my knowledge, also the NPCs wont be able to use the stairs in the three towers, the stairs were too steep and I had too little space to make the nodes work)
- Stone dock
- Barracks (the buildings with windows) also AI noded with stairs that the NPCs actually use.
- Space
- Might have some weird lighting issues, but sh¡t works at the end of the day


Battery Moultrie (or at least a light version, had to make it small due to compiling issues and to save time)
- CSA Spawn
- Four large plataforms with sand mounts
- Coast
- Stone Dock (petite size)

Im still an amateur mapper around here, so do not expect that all my maps are made with expert quality and lighting, I work with the skills I have and the quality should improve with time. Anyways, enjoy your reenactments and whatever ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you decide to commit in these maps I provide!!! (also the skybox is sh¡1, srry for that, theyll be better in the future)
