The Solar Wars

In the year 2112, the solar system is engulfed in the fiery conflict known as The Solar Wars, with all factions battling for control of the Solar Dynamo—a colossal Dyson sphere encircling the sun, completed in 2103. This Dynamo is not only a technological marvel and the ultimate source of limitless solar energy but is also revered as a symbol of divine power and destiny.

The United Solar Nations (USN), a theocracy bound by the belief in the “Prophet of Fire,” view the Dynamo as the sacred flame prophesied to unite humanity. Their fleets, adorned with the symbols of their faith, seek to convert or conquer all, believing the Dynamo’s energy is destined to light the path to a spiritually unified cosmos.

From the rings of Saturn, Saturnia aims to consolidate its dominance over the outer solar system. They see the Dynamo as the key to their imperial ambitions, a source of immense energy to fuel their advanced technology and ensure their supremacy from the asteroid belts to the outer moons.

On Mars, Cyrinx, dedicated to the worship of the Illusive God, regards the Dynamo as a divine beacon. They seek to control it, believing it will bring divine illumination to humanity. Their warships, marked by their faith, embark on holy crusades to spread their religion through conquest.

Back on Earth, the Children of Eden, survivors of a fractured world, cling to the hope the Dynamo offers. For them, it represents a chance to rebuild their shattered planet and reclaim their ancestral heritage, seeing the Dynamo as a lifeline for Earth’s renewal amidst the ruins.

The Solar Wars are a tumultuous struggle where countless other factions—from rogue colonies and independent miners to pirate fleets—vie for a piece of the Dynamo’s power. As battles rage across the solar system, the Dynamo stands at the heart of this epic conflict, a beacon of hope and contention, symbolizing the future of humanity in the vastness of space.
