"Man The Ramparts" by RagnaroK (if you use Tier 4 or 5 for all for your settlements, need to use the respective T4/ 5 version!)
"Shooting Modes" + Patchhammer fix: Adds a few shooting modes
"Artillery Firing Options" by Snek: Adds a few artillery gunshell choices
"Huge Ball of Trash" by Snek: Doubles the amount of models in some low level trash units so your mech/tanks/artillery can create bigger mountains of corpses
Keep in mind that all "abilities" or different shooting modes the units have should be preserved in any case.
For the Empire, I heavily (!) recommend that you try to use these mods together - you prob won't turn them off ever again - unless some kind of 5.1 related problem turned up...
