Sweep sweep sweep. He liked to keep everything clean and orderly. Unfortunately, this makes the Detective's job much harder, but he just didn't care.

You have to use TTT2 in order to use this role. Additionally using ULX for TTT2 is recommended. Report bugs concerning this role here[github.com]. A list of all currently available roles can be found here.

You are a Traitor role with a special gadget, the Janitor Broom! This Janitor Broom has two special functions. Mouse1 will clean up and destroy a body, which then goes on a lengthy cooldown. Mouse2 will remove DNA from any body you find, including DNA from your fellow traitors. Removing DNA does not incur any cooldown.




Convars are variables that are introduced to allow server owners to customize the gameplay without changing the code. There are always a handful of convars automatically created by TTT2, that define the spawn parameters of this role and are found in ULX. Additionally there might be some role specific convars, which have to be set in the server config file.

Normal Role Convars (also found in ULX)
# enable or disable this role ttt_janitor_enabled [0/1] (default 1) # the percentage of players that are spawned as this role ttt_janitor_pct [0.0..1.0] (default 0.15) # the limit of players that spawn as this role each round, this overwrites the percentage ttt_janitor_max [0..n] (default 1) # the probability each round of this role being spawned at all ttt_janitor_random [0..100] (default 33) # the amount of players needed for this role to spawn ttt_janitor_min_players [0..n] (default 6)

Spanospy, Thank you for the comment! I was thinking this role will be similar to a Traitor with a flare gun (which already destroys up to 4 bodies with no cooldown) but this role has a 60 second cooldown between destroying bodies (which you can configure in the F1 menu)

I can work on a damage modifier if he is too powerful when I get some free time in the coming days however! :steamthumbsup:

Interesting idea! Might try this out when I next play TTT with friends.

Out of curiosity, have you considered an option where the janitor can't damage anyone, similar to a jester? Being able to kill and remove bodies seems powerful on paper!
