REVAMPED BOTS FIT MORE FOR GAMEPLAY PURPOSES, ENJOYMENT OF 16 PLAYER COOP SESSIONS

Replaces TFE, TSE, TSE DLC, BFE, SURVIVAL TSE AND BFE Levels. Changes the way bots perform in Campaign levels using bot path markers. As well changes how detectors, triggers, doors react to bots presence.

HOW TO SPAWN BOTS
1. Subscribe to the mod
2. Start Moddable game by hitting play Serious Sam Fusion 2017 (beta) in Steam or exe. Just as long as it's moddable exe, all should be fine
3. Choose Network Play, Choose a Gamemode, for example Survival or Cooperative Classic.
4. Choose a map, it can be Survival or any TFE, TSE, BFE level (NOT THE DEMO ONES)
5. After configuring your session hit play. Once you're loaded in the level open the console by pressing ~ key next to ESC
6. In the console type in cht_bEnableCheats=2
7. Hit enter and close the console by pressing ~ again. Press ESC to go to the main menu and at the bottom left it should say F3 Cheats
8. Press F3 or Manually Click On It.
9. As Cheat menu opens, you'll see Spawn Coop NPC. Click on it and choose which character you want to spawn in.
10. Double click on the character's name and the bot spawns. That is all...

RECOMMENDED SESSION SETTINGS
Put Enemy Strength Multiplier to 200 and Enemy Strength Modifier Per Player to 200. This way your sessions will last longer

KNOWN ISSUES
- Bots teleport in non linear areas (To prevent them from dying and blindly jumping into the traps, I made them teleport instead)
- Maps tend to behave a bit off (I enabled Touchfields, Detectors, Triggers react to Non Players, which means even an enemy can trigger the event)
- Bots do not die (They play with God Mode in original maps of TFE, TSE and BFE. They do die in Custom Game Titles but it is unsure. Seen it happen only in Editor)
- Locked Doors won't open for Bots, even if the key is picked (Engine automatically locks doors for player only and not NPC bots)
- Bots struggle with ladders (Only one bot can execute the task properly, as there is no one in their way)
- BFE DLC Is barely playable with bots (Levels are not linear enough for the bots to perform well. This mod does not replace BFE DLC)
- Bots crash the game when there is a second player around (Coop with friends is not supported. You must be alone to play with bots)
- In TSE final Level, Bots wait for player to open the ending's Castle Doors. (This is to prevent them from Speed Running towards the Boss.
- In Legend Of The Beast Finale Level, Bots completely break the Boss Fight. (It does not necessarily crash the fight, instead they just clam shut in the corner. When bots are overwhelmed or low on ammo, their first instinct is to go backwards, thus they hug the corners)

ABOUT PROJECT NEVER ALONE
This mod took me two years to figure out on how to properly configure bots from 2017 Fusion's release date. The reason it takes a while to update this mod and yet still not perfect it, is because I keep on jumping between projects to study further. I grew tired of playing alone so I decided to integrate my own kind of bot modification, using Croteam's existing data. This is the result. Now you can play solo sessions with bots. Choose which character you want to spawn in and start blasting. This mod aims to get rid of loneliness, or at least try to.

Project Never Alone and it's addons allows bots to die in Serious Sam 4 FYI! :) I believe it's one of the addons to be specific. I hated that they were in god mode in this version. I've created a mod collection that is catered to bot play in SS4.

TSE Update is now LIVE! I've also included Survival maps from TSE and BFE. Now I did not do any tests between my other devices, but if you run into any issues, feel free to drop a comment and I'll get to it.

@Shockwave I did some changes to this mod. I've only replaced BFE Campaign level's certain AI Navigation Points. This mod will work with every Custom map, just as long as the creator included Bot navigations and chapters. This mod won't work however, if there is another mod that replaces GlobalParameters of the Game Title. If BFE Enhanced was made with navigable markers for the bots, then it will work. Just the results might be off putting (I assume Bot markers weren't touched and were left as is "Vanilla")

So this mod doesn't work with other BFE campaign overhaul mods correct? Eg BFE enhanced. Since this mod acts as a replacement for regular BFE, the advanced bots ai wont take effect in BFE enhanced or any other BFE campaign mod overhaul.

@Cuddles Tested both on Steam Deck and PC. All works fine. It's quite odd that it does not work for you. Perhaps lets runs some basic check ups to find the culprit.
1. Make sure you run Moddable Session
2.Ensure you only have only this one mod enabled.
3. Resubscribe and restart Steam.
4. Make sure the mod is actually enabled.
5. For critical check disable all mods and only enable Project Never Alone.
6. Ensure you're hosting Private Network Session
7. If played in Singleplayer make sure you do not load saves.
8. If it happens whenever you die in game take note if the AI Breaks or not, if so play with God Mode and see if they still break.
That's all i can come up with. I am terribly sorry for any inconvenience. Most people say it all works fine. Let me know if i can assist you further.

@Dizellfest "Default Vanilla bots will only stay in place, follow and collect items that are within player's range." that is what happens on broken wings, they just gave the default behaviour by just staying with the player, i even spawned in one of the default serious sam bots (blue bill) and he gave the same behaviour. I did play one more level after i did "no place to hide" and i believe the bots went back doing default behaviour. it's like some levels the changes are visible e.g the bots spawn and run off together without the player or they don't change and stay with the player and only follow them.
