So after some testing it really was this mod. Its fixed now. Hope you will enjoy!

@nocturni well thats interesting behaviour.
the mod only acty on entities and gives them a tag. thats it.

i'm not really sure if it's a mod conflict or whatsoever but this mod seemed to be the cause of my issue

when first starting my game, during my first run i am almost completely immune to creep (as if it isn't registering damage properly), though if i restart a run, it suddenly works again

removing this mod completely fixed the issue though

@nocturni could you elaborate? it shouldnt be able to do that.

be warned; this mod can make you immune to creep unless you restart a run
