Due to looming threats (keen mentioning a future PVE update) and increasing number of Visby class corvettes being put into service the ESDF high command and material administration decided an upgrade was in order and as such the flight 3 was given the go ahead, these upgrades includes and overhaul to the ships internal conveyors, a interior re-design, increased fuel capacity and a re-design of the ships bridge
The Visby class has proven itself to be a reliable and affordable workhorse and the ESDF has no future plans for a replacement class any time soon
