With looming threats (Keen mentioning a future PvE update) the ESDF high command and material administartion decided it was time to upgrade and up armor the entire fleet starting with the fleets backbone the Valour class.
Serving as the longest class that planet earth has ever put into service, with 350+ years of service of the flight 2 iteration it was about time to introduce a flight 3 of the venerable valour class battlecruiser many of these changes included the addition of 4 assault turrets, a re-design to the bridge and additional fuel tanks along with a re-design to some of ships interior and internal conveyors.
The Valour class has proven itself time and time again as well proven design with no chance of being replaced or decommissioned any time soon.
