That's the kind of addon I like and have the time to do: game bugfixes. I also made a pinned discussion here about it.
I did some research, it seems that the underwater sound script data is indeed stored in GMod's folders, together with the audio file, so I have everything that's needed to replicate the original, not bugged, Half-Life 2 behaviour.
No plans on when it will be ready, but stay tuned
I just wanna say thank you for your amazing mod, it means a lot for me.
If you take any suggestions, can you please do addon, that fix old problem?
I'm talking about missing sound, that should play while player in underwater (ambient/water/underwater.wav).
This sound is in half-life 2 files and it's not used in source engine games (singleplayer), but was used back in (2004-2006) old source engine until release of episode two (2007).
It would be awesome and useful for singleplayer users, like me if you do that.
But only if you want & if it's possible.
Thanks for your mods.
Sincerely, regular addon user (Sierra).
The HL2 shotgun muzzleflashes correctly on my end, both in singleplayer and multiplayer. What's still broken here is the muzzleflash of the RPG and 357 Magnum, even after GMod's July update that supposedly fixes it for the RPG
the default HL2 shotty not having a muzzleflash in 3rd person, btw your addon is the exact type of thing i look for in gmod
