AK-12 Sound "Overhaul"

描述

Mod replaces the firing and handling sounds for the AK-12 assault rifle.

Notes:

There are some oddities with how the sound playback is coded. The full auto firing layer will play the single fire sound first and then transition to the full auto loop instead of starting from the beginning of the loop (you can very obviously tell this is the case, and this seems to be only the case with the AK-12). The brass check and empty reload boltpull animations unfortunately also use sound references from another gun, so it may sound odd at times. Just going to have to live with it.
The soundbank has references to a 2-round burst mode that, as far as I can tell, is unused so I did not compile the soundbank with any references to it. It shouldn't cause any issues however.
The video may not be exactly representative of how it actually sounds so I implore you to use the mod first and come to your own conclusions.

Installation:

Navigate to your Steam Workshop directory for KF2 and copy the file WwiseDefaultBank_WW_WEP_SA_AK12.bnk.
<Your Steam Install directory>\steamapps\workshop\content\232090\3269579587\ For most people your Steam install will be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam. If you have KF2 installed on a drive that isn't your C: drive, the mod files will be downloaded to the same drive you installed KF2 on. Your Steam folder may also be named SteamLibrary instead.
Paste the file that you copied to the following directory:
C:\Users\<your Windows user>\Documents\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\Published\BrewedPC\WWiseAudio\Windows\

The sounds are brill, though a tad loud and could do with a small tweak, but otherwise sounds like an actual Kalash.
