somebody else called it a mashup so that's why I called it that too without giving it much thought

Mashup is mixing of two full songs. This is just little addition, i can't even call this remix, just a little fun detail. It's okay, a lot of people get these things wrong

It's not mashup actually. I've added a little synth with genesis leitmotif myself. And i made song D Minor because that's the key of most songs in the game, it just feels more natural this way. Thanks!
