Battle of Puebla 1862

During the second French intervention of 1862, a very well known battle took place in puebla, 5th of May or 5 de Mayo is celebrated in Mexico because the Mexican forces were triumphant against the incoming French troops, the battle tool place in a hill that has two forts on either side, Fort Loreto on the left and Fort Guadalupe on the right, these forts were armed with men and artillery. The French forces would attempt to take the forts a handfull of times until they retreated due to the strategic and strong Mexican position in the forts. The French never took the forts, but a year later they would besiege the city of Puebla.

Anyways, this map is situated in the two forts of Loreto and Guadalupe, it may not be 1/1 scale but I had to work with what the engine offers me, so I made a semi-arid environment, the hill and both of the forts, each fort is made almost exactly like the real ones. I recommend you use Stormfox 1 to have day and night cycles, it should work to a certain extent

Fort Loreto:
- Four bastions with 5 gunports each
- Moat
- walls
- Chapel of Loreto inside
- Building with beds and space for anything you want to do with it
- Hinged Gate

Trench:
- trench that goes from one fort to the other

Fort Guadalupe:
- Two bastions with gunports
- Moat
- Walls
- Gunports
- Temple of Guadalupe with two towers which have ladders
- Interior
- 3 large wooden hinged doors

Puebla:
- Inaccessible, its part of the skybox

Map is made with avarage Mexican quality worksmanship and made in less than a week, I hope yall enjoy and probably recreate the horrors of siege warfare in this map as well as the rest of my maps! And also a small easter egg hidden somwhere :]
