CAI LB-09 "Atrox"

Receiving a deceptively low project designation due to a prolonged and fraught development, the Atrox is a relatively recent addition to the airfleet of Pydrinck. Whilst many within the command structure yearned for larger and longer ranged bombers than those that could be launched from the sea, whether by tender or carrier, opposition delayed implementation considerably. Reaching final production only after several major revisions, these bombers represent a maximalist approach to strategic airpower. Six powerful engines and a wingspan of over 50 metres makes them an awe-inspiring sight on the runway or in the skies, and their bomb load is no less potent. With a truly staggering maximum range, few adversaries of Pydrinck's ambitions are now beyond reach, striking deep where before even the heaviest of guns could not reach; a gun armament sufficient to render them nearly immune to interception is merely an afterthought.
