Mechanoid Commanders Retextured

This is a mod that updates the appearance of the mechanoid commanders in the game to new designs. Personally I was never really a huge fan of the fact that the designs of two of the three commander units introduced in Biotech were basically just "centipede plus" designs that pretty much looked like a centipede with a couple other things added on or changed. Especially since we got other mechs with cool, completely new designs like the centurion and tunneler among others, and those aren't even commanders.

So, I decided to try my hand at making some new designs for them that will separate them visually from the appearance of centipedes and give them a more unique and imposing look, as befitting their status as commanders.

For the Diabolus, I tried to make it look a bit more... diabolical, so as to fit its description as a razor-bodied fiend that pulses with flesh-searing heat. It also now has eyes.

The War Queen I aimed to give more of the insectoid look it is described as having, specifically that of an insectoid queen, but still mechanoidey.











Possible future additions: maybe a retexture of the apocriton if I come up with a design I like.
